How to Make Chia Pudding and Nutrition Fact Of Chia Seeds

Chia Seeds are one of the healthiest food on the planet.

They are rich in Monosaturated and Polyunsaturated fats which are good for the heart and brain.

It’s one of the vegetarian food that contains omega 3 fatty acids also known as ALA (alpha-linolenic acid)

This article cover’s the process of making chia pudding and the nutrition fact of chia seed for 100gms.


• 1 cup coconut milk

• 1½ tablespoon powdered jaggery

• ½ ripe banana

• ⅛ teaspoon rock salt

• 2 tablespoons chia seeds

• 1tablespooen peanuts or any other nuts for crunchiness(optional)

• 1 cup chopped mixed fruits (such as banana, mango, grapes,

            Pear, kiwi, orange, pomegranate, berries)

• Cinnamon powder


1. Add coconut milk, jaggery, banana, and salt into a blender and blend until smooth.

2. Pour this mixture over chia seeds and let them soak for about 2 hours on the kitchen counter. The chia seeds will swell up and thicken the mixture.

3. Add some nuts and cinnamon powder for extra flavors.

4. Add the chopped fruits to the chia seed mixture. Place the pudding in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving, to make it cold.

The above chia pudding is sufficient for 2 to 3 people and the quantity will be around 500ml. There is no use of the animal product in this dish so everyone can consume.

You can add this pudding to your diet in the morning or as an occasional treat.
